Event Information

Western Group of Motoring Writers PR Driving Day at Castle Combe Circuit, Chippenham on 5 June

The day will follow the usual proven and successful timetable, full details are available as a download event pack at the bottom of the page, but essentially it means a reasonably early start at Castle Combe Circuit with welcome over breakfast and safety briefings before the road and circuit routes open, pause for lunch and then resume before concluding late afternoon with the unique prize-giving.

To register guests and cars, login to the site and complete the details for each guest, please note we will need the date of birth and driving licence number for each guest attending and only guests registered on the site will be able to attend. To streamline the system this year you’ll be invoiced prior to the event. The cost to attend is £350.00 per company, this includes unlimited cars and up to two guests. Additional guests are charged at £175.00 per person. All companies who register a car for use on the track will be allocated one additional guest space, at no charge. The track drives have always been one of the unique features of the event, we know how tricky it can be these days, but we really need your help to make sure we can keep the track sessions feasible.

The only rule of the day is you don’t drive your own products, just everyone else’s. Once again can we urge you to bring along the very latest models in your range to make the event as worthwhile as possible to everyone, including members of thewesterngroup who will be bringing their product knowledge up to date when there is a quiet period with a test vehicle not being driven by guests.

We have always given you something extra each year and for DD2019 we want you to bring along a heritage or classic model if you keep any on fleet, but also a van if you have one in the range. It doesn’t have to be white.

There will be a charitable collection throughout the day and some extra curricular activities we are keeping as surprises.

We look forward to seeing you on 5 June.
